In April of 2022, Gulf Breeze Retreats purchased 60 beautiful acres in Carriere Ms. to establish the second only facility dedicated as a Christian music school. However, the facility is also setup to accommodate a variety of Christian retreats and camps.

A large donation was given to Gulf Breeze Retreats to establish a permanent Music School for the future of the Church. The Holley Family donated the funds to GBR in memory of our original board member, Sister Juanice Holley, and her husband and longtime kitchen manager, brother James Holley, so we thought it fitting to rename the property Holley Springs Christian Retreat Center. This could not have been possible without this generous donation, and we greatly thank the Holley Family and all of their extended family for this gift!

About the Facility

Holley Springs has three main buildings.

• The Lodge has two dorms able to sleep 30 in each dorm, with 2 large baths and shower rooms. The full Commercial Kitchen is in the Large Meeting/Dining room separating the dorms.
  
• The Open Chapel is located on the bank of the beautiful 10-acre private lake/pond. The Chapel can sit about 150 people and has pews on a concrete floor.
  
• The Hotel has 20 private rooms, each with private baths and mostly a queen size bed. In the center of the hotel is a large Conference Room equipped with coffee bar and small kitchenette.

There are six 50 amp RV sites directly across from the hotel. The Lake provides Boating, Fishing, Swimming and more! There is volleyball, Basketball and soon to be 2 new Pickleball courts. Horseshoe, Cornhole and plenty of room for any activity you can imagine.
